Lydia's Gift

Illustrated with photographs taken at Exchange Place, the first half of the book tells the story of a child observing her grandmother as she goes through the procedures necessary to produce an article of woolen clothing.

The second half provides further information about the sheep-to-shawl process described in the story.

Written in language appropriate for elementary school age children, the subject and photographs make it a keepsake for all ages.
